Dear GP Colleague,

​

Tony was admitted on the stroke unit earlier this year following an acute left occipital lobe infarct.

​

We arranged an outpatient cardiac monitor to look for any evidence of atrial fibrillation.

​

I am pleased to say that the monitor does not show any AF. Tony should continue the clopidogrel lifelong as well as continue to manage cardiovascular risk factors.
